PlunderPit explores the social fun of descending into danger together: finding treasure, navigating limited visibility, and hearing the other players around you. Descend, find treasure, haul it up, and score—with the chaos of getting everyone and their loot back out.
The prototype combines a Three.js client, an authoritative Node.js multiplayer server, and WebRTC proximity voice. Voice volume also feeds into the play experience.
Character development
The gallery brings together character concepts, a Blender model, and an in-game preview of CLAMMY. Alongside the game-loop illustration, these show the visual development of the explorers and the world they inhabit.
Layout Lab: from generation to live play
Layout Lab is a companion tool connected to PlunderPit. It procedurally generates level layouts and can push them live from the tool into the game. It can also import layouts from PlunderPit back into the tool for editing and iteration.
That two-way workflow lets me move between generating a layout, trying it in the game, and refining it in the tool.
